When requesting data from paid API's or Services on the NxtPort platform, a fee is charged. This fee is a combination of 3 variables:
In order for a Data User to request data from (some of) our API's, such as the Import Consignment API, a mutual agreement, or "digital handshake", between the relevant Data Provider and the Data User needs to be set up.
This agreement is secured and confirmed within the NxtPort Console: only after both parties have agreed upon the conditions, the data will be unlocked and available for usage.
Both Data User and Data Provider can initiate a "digital handshake" by requesting an offer or sending an offer to the other party. In such an offer, a data fee is set by the Data Provider whereafter the Data User can ‘Deny’ or ‘Accept’ the offer.
New features have been added to our console to allow fully digital contract management between data providers and data users
