In the process of transporting goods overseas, the principal needs to send out transport instructions to one or more transport companies. NxtPort wants to standardize these instructions between all parties, resulting in significant gains in time and costs.
In essence, there are only few substantial differences between different transport instructions. Most elements of transport instructions are the same, regardless of who is sending these instructions, who is receiving them, what transport modus is being used, and so on. In this context, NxtPort is working on a solution to standardize these instructions, regardless of who is sending instructions to whom. This way, principals don't waste time sending out different kinds of transport instructions to different kinds of transport companies, all with different inputs, in different applications, using different terminology, and so on.
